I.Trainee Tradesmen – 26

Salary: Rs. 20,000/- Per Month

Qualification Details:
Trainee Tradesmen: –
26 (UR-13, OBC-7, SC-4 & ST-2)
1. Skilled Trades Men in Mechanical Trade
i. Eligibility Criteria: ITI/NCVT/GCE in Mechanical/Fitter/ Marine/Machinist/Plumbing/ Sheet Metal/Mechanic Refrigeration & Air Conditioning issued by Govt. of India. OR 3 years’ Diploma from Govt. Recognized Institution

ii. Experience: Candidates must have minimum Five years experience. Candidates with Aviation ground Equipment maintenance experience preferred OR 3 years’ experience

2. Skilled Trades Men in Electrical Trade
i. Eligibility Criteria: ITI/NCVT/GCE/VHSE in Electrical/Wireman issued by Govt. of India. OR 3 years’ Diploma from Govt. Recognized Institution

ii. Experience: Candidates must have minimum Five years experience. Candidates with Aviation Equipment & Facility maintenance experience preferred. OR 3 years’ experience

3. Skilled Trades Men in Diesel Mechanical /Diesel Electrical Trade
i. Eligibility Criteria: ITI/NCVT/GCE in Diesel Mechanical/Mechanic Motor Vehicle/Diesel Electrical/Auto Mechanic/Auto Electrician issued by Govt. of India. OR 3 years’ Diploma from Govt. Recognized Institution

ii. Experience: Candidates must have minimum Five years experience. Candidates with Aviation ground Equipment maintenance experience preferred. OR 3 years’ experience

4. Skilled Trades Men in Welder Trade

i. Eligibility: ITI/NCVT/GCE in Welder issued by Govt. of India.

ii. Experience: Candidates must have minimum Three years experience. Candidates with Aviation ground Equipment maintenance experience preferred

5. Skilled Trades Men in painter Trade
i. Eligibility: ITI/NCVT/GCE in Painter issued by Govt. of India.

ii. Experience: Candidates must have minimum Three years experience. Candidates with Aviation experience preferred.

6. Skilled Trades Men in Carpenter Trade
i. Eligibility: ITI/NCVT/GCE in Carpentry issued by Govt. of India.

ii. Experience: Candidates must have minimum Three years experience. Candidates with Aviation experience preferred.

7. Skilled Trades Men in Draftsman Trade
i. Eligibility: ITI/NCVT/GCE in Draughtsman (Mechanical/Civil) issued by Govt. of India

ii. Experience: Candidates must have minimum Three years experience. Candidates with Aviation experience preferred.

II.Assistant Supervisor – 10

Salary: Rs. 19,570/- Per Month

Qualification Details:
Assistant Supervisor (Technical / NonTechnical): 10 (UR-05, OBC-03, SC-1 & ST-1)
1. Qualification:
i. Technical:- Engineering Degree/Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance/ Aerospace/Civil/Electrical/ Electronics/Mechanical or equivalent from any recognized University/Board.

ii. Non-Technical:- B.Com from UGC recognized University/Board

2. Experience:
Candidates must have minimum one year technical experience in aviation. Candidates with Aviation Ground Equipment maintenance experience preferred. Candidate must have minimum one year experience. Candidates with more experience in Banks/Aviation/MTO will be given age relaxation up to 10 years.

Age: Upper age limit – 35 years. OBC – upper age limit of 35 years would be relaxed by 3 years. SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen – upper age limit of 35 years would be relaxed by 5 years.

Job Location : Thiruvananthapuram

Application Fee: 

 Application Fee of Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) by means of an A/c Payee Demand Draft in favour of Air India Engineering Services Limited payable at Delhi. No fees to be paid by ExServicemen/Applicants belonging to SC/ST communities. Please mention your full name and the post applied for on the reverse of the Demand Draft.

General Instruction:
a) The short listed candidates will be considered for engagement on the fixed term Contract basis, subject to their medical fitness prescribed for the post. The selected candidates may be posted in any station/ region of the Airline.

b) Candidates will have to bear the cost of the Pre-Employment Medical examination(s). Any additional tests, if required, the additional cost thereof will also have to be borne by the candidate.

c) Reservation and concessions/relaxations to SC/ST/OBC/Ex-Servicemen candidate would be extended as per Government Directives in the matter

d) SC/ST candidates fulfilling the requirements and appearing for Personal Interview residing beyond 80 kms. from the Test Centre and not employed in any Government/Semi-Government/Public Sector Undertaking or Autonomous Bodies will be reimbursed second class to and fro rail/bus fare by the shortest route as per rules, on production of evidence to that effect.

e) Applications which are unsigned/incomplete/mutilated/received after the prescribed Walk-In date and time/not in person will be rejected. Applications sent by email/post will not be considered.

f) The applicant must ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility criteria as on 10/05/2018 and that the particulars furnished by them in the application are correct in all respects. Candidates failing to bring the relevant original and photocopy of testimonials will be disqualified. At any stage of the Selection Process, if the particulars provided by the candidate in the application or testimonials supplied are found incorrect/false or not meeting the eligibility requirements prescribed for the post, the candidature is liable to be rejected and, if appointed, services terminated without giving any notice or reasons thereof.

g) Any canvassing by or on behalf of the candidate or bringing political or other outside influence with regard to their engagement/selection will be considered a DISQUALIFICATION.

Documents Required:
1. Educational Qualification (i.e. SSLC, HSC, or higher education with mark sheets for each year), as applicable.
2. Date of birth proof (Original School Leaving Certificate or attested photo copy duly signed by the Principal of same School/College and HSC passing certificate.)
3. Candidates are advised to carry experience certificate with them or appointment letter of current working Firm
4. Technical / license qualifications may be in Original for verification.
5. Caste Certificate in original in the prescribed format along with selfcertified photo copy in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates.

Selection Procedure:

a) Applicants meeting the eligibility criteria, mentioned above, as on 10th May, 2018 are required to WALK-IN to the venue mentioned on the date and time as indicated, along with the Application Form in the specified format, duly filled in Hindi or English and requisite documents as indicated below with nonrefundable Application Fee of Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) by means of an A/c Payee Demand Draft in favour of “Air India Engineering Services Limited” payable at Delhi. No fees to be paid by ExServicemen/Applicants belonging to SC/ST communities. Please mention your full name and the post applied for on the reverse of the Demand Draft.

b) A recent (not more than 3 months old) coloured passport size photograph of full face (front view) should be pasted neatly in the space provided in the application form.
