- There are more than 55,000 MSMEs operating in the regions of Odisha which are likely to get affected by this cyclonic storm.
- Tribal-dominated district of Malkangiri has been the worst affected.
- Several rivers in the district including Pangam, Saptadhara, Korukonda were flowing above dangerlevel while road communication between Malkangiri and Chhattisgarh has been disrupted.
