Latest Updates: Railway Recruitment Board has published new notification regarding Railway ALP 2018 Vacancy, Selection of RRB, Option for Railway/Unit & Posts, Selection of Exam Trade and Confirmation/Modification of Bank Account Details for Refund. The last date for submission of all details is 1st October 2018. This is a good news for candidates who have applied for Assistant Loco Pilot and Tech exam because RRB has increased vacancies are increased up to 64,371. All the candidates who have appeared in the 1st stage CBT have to select the RRB and priority of options for Railway/Production unit & posts failing which their candidature will not be considered for shortlisting for 2nd stage CBT.

Railway Recruitment Board has released the recruitment notification yesterday (2nd Feb 2018) for the posts of Assistant Loco Pilot & Technicians.
Interested candidates may check the eligibility criteria and apply online from 22-09-2018 to 01-10-2018. More details about including the number of vacancies, eligibility criteria, selection procedure, how to apply and important dates, are given below:

• Assistant Loco Pilot: 27,795 Posts
• Multiple Posts of Technicians: 36,576 Posts

Age Limit

Minimum Age
• 18 years

Maximum Age

• UR: 30 years
• OBC: 33 years
• SC / ST: 35 years

Educational qualification:

• Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP)
Candidate Must Have Passed Degree/Diploma In Engineering or 10th Pass and ITI in related Trade.
• Technician(Various Trade)
Candidate Must have Passed class 10th and ITI in related Trade.
• Technician Grade III (Signal / Telecommunication)

Candidate Must have Passed class 12th with Physics and Maths.

Selection process

• Computer-based test
• Interview

For the post of ALP (Assistant Loco Pilot):-

• First stage CBT
  Second Stage CBT)
  Computer-Based Aptitude Test (AT).
  Document Verification and Empanelling of Candidates

For the post of Technician:

• First stage CBT
  Second Stage CBT)
  Document Verification and Empanelling of Candidates
  Note: Marks will be normalized in all the stages of the exam.
