Vinoba Bhave Vinayak Narahari Bhave (September 11, 1895 – November 15, 1982) often called Acharya (Sanskrit for teacher), was an Indian advocate of nonviolence and human rights. He is best known for the Bhoodan Andolan.

Ajay-Atul is the music alias of Indian music directors-composer brother duo of Ajay and Atul Gogavale. In 2008, Ajay-Atul won the Best Music Direction award at the 56th National Film Awards by the Government of India for contributing music to the Marathi film Jogwa.

Mahadevi Varma (26 March 1907 – September 11, 1987) best known as an outstanding Hindi poet, was a freedom fighter, woman’s activist and educationist from India. She is widely regarded as the “modern Meera”.

Sandilyan or Chandilyan is the Pen name of Bhashyam Iyengar, a noted Tamil writer of Historical fiction. He is known for his historical romance and adventure novels, often set in the times of the Chola and Pandya empires.

Sorabji Hormasji Munchersha Colah (born September 22, 1902 in Bombay – died September 11, 1950 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India was an early Indian cricketer. Born and educated in Bombay, Colah showed promise at a young age.
