Sathyaraj (born Rangaraj Subbaiah 3 October 1954) is an Indian film actor and media personality in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. A Tamil activist and a political influence, he has acted in over 150 films, ranging from action and drama to comedy.

Jyoti Prakash Dutta (born 3 October 1949 in Mumbai, Maharashtra) is an Indian Bollywood film producer and director. Mr. Dutta produces his films under the banner of JP Films. He is known for directing many patriotic war films and films in the action genre.

Hitendra Thakur (born: 3 October 1961) is an Indian politician from Virar, Maharashtra, India. He is the president of Bahujan Vikas Aaghadi, a political party in the Vasai-Virar region of Maharashtra, India.

Gurcharan Das (born October 3, 1943), is an Indian author, commentator and public intellectual. He is the author of The Difficulty of Being Good: On the subtle art of dharma which interrogates the epic, Mahabharata.

Kadambini Ganguly (18 July 1861 – 3 October 1923) was one of the first female graduates of the British Empire along with Chandramukhi Basu. She was one of the first female physicians of South Asia to be trained in European medicine.

M.N. Vijayan (also known as Vijayan Mash) (8 June 1930 – 3 October 2007) was an Indian writer, orator and academic. M.N. Vijayan was born in Lokamaleshwaram, Kerala, India. He was educated in Pathinettarayalam L.P. School, Kodungallur Boys High School, Ernakulam Maharajas College, and Government Law College, Ernakulam.

Joginder Singh Rao (16 October 1938 – 3 October 1994) was an Indian cricketer: a right-arm medium pace bowler who played only five first-class games, all for Services in the 1963-64 Ranji Trophy, but who is notable for having not only taken a hat-trick on debut.

Dr. Muhammad Abdul Haq Ansari is an Islamic thinker of modern times. He is the former Amir (president) of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH), the largest organisation in India for Islamic cause. He is presently a member of the Central Advisory Council of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind.

Sayyid Mubarak Ali Khan (popularly known as Humayun Jah) was born on September 29, 1810 to Ahmad Ali Khan and his only principal wife Nazib-un-nisa Begum Sahiba. He was the Nawab of Bengal from 1824–1838. He was succeeded by Mansur Ali Khan.
