Launched BY HDFC bank : IRA will be positioned near the Welcome Desk, where it will greet
customers and guide them to the relevant counter in the branch such as Cash Deposit, Foreign
Exchange, Loans, among others in the first phase.

Voice Biometrics Authentication

Launched by Citibank India : Biometrics authentication that would replace the current practice of interactive voice response (IVR) for its customers.
The new technology allows clients to use their voiceprints for authentication rather than having
to remember multiple PINs or respond to questions used for verifying their identities

Pinakin App

Launched by Tamil Nadu : The app, in two languages — Tamil and English
— covers world heritage tourist sites like Mamallapuram, Thanjavur Big Temple,
Gangaikonda Cholapuram and Darasuram, an official release said. The app can be downloaded
free of cost from iStore or Playstore.
The app would provide information on other major tourist destinations in Tamil Nadu in a
phased manner

ShaGun Web-Portal

The portal was developed by World Bank in collaboration with Union Ministry of Human Resource Development. Its name has been derived from the words Shala (means schools) and Gun (i.e. Gunvatta meaning Quality).
It aims to capture and showcase innovations and progress in Elementary Education sector of India by continuous monitoring of the flagship scheme – Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA).

THE PUNE City Police have started using a ‘Beat Marshall Monitoring Mobile App’ on experimental basis to map the real-time locations of patrolling teams from police stations.
The data collected would then be used for effective response during the emergencies.

Citibank Online(CBOL)

The real-time chat facility focuses on resolving queries instantly, in a safe environment, across cards, domestic and non-resident accounts, and loans, for clients as they transact online
CBOL also features a regular chat facility for generic query resolutions. India is the first country in Asia Pacific within the Citi network, which spans 12 countries in the region, to launch the generic chat capabilities.

Mahindra Agri Solutions Ltd (MASL), a whollyowned subsidiary of Mahindra & Mahindra today
announced the launch of ‘MyAgriGuru’, an advisory platform for farmers that has been introduced as a mobile app.
MyAgriGuru’, a 24×7 advisory platform for farmers. Developed in English and Hindi currently, the app has been launched across India and is available on Andorid.

Pratibimba – Web Portal

Launched by Karnataka Government It is a comprehensive web-based platform
showcasing the government’s performance and achievements to the citizens.
Pratibimba,’ which means reflection, will serve as a tool to improve efficiency in
governance and allow citizens to track government’s progress

HDFC Bank announced the launch of an electronic virtual assistant (EVA), an artificial
intelligence-driven chatbot, for customer services. Eva is India’s first AI-based banking chatbot

IDFC Bank has become the first bank to launch the biometric-based
payment system Aadhaar Pay through its network.

Mera iMobile

Launched by ICICI Bank India’s first mobile banking application for
rural customers it allows users in rural areas to avail as many as 135 services
Additionally, it is the first banking app to offer agriculture related information like crop wise mandi prices of nearly 230 crop varieties across 460 mandis.

myLoan

Launched by Tata Capital myLoan’ – a first-of-its kind mobile app by the
company to extend its existing personal loan offering to the emerging younger and mobile
savvy audience. The app enables the user to check his / her loan eligibility and apply for a loan seamlessly using only a mobile device. The app also allows existing customers to view their loan
status and details.

Ammavin Aran App

Launched by Tamil Nadu Government. The app is called ‘Ammavin Aran’ meaning
‘mother’s fortress’. The app will give the user details about the nearest police station and hospital along with map details and phone number. There is an in-built whistle, which can manipulate the phone speaker to create a loud noise when pressed by anyone in distress.

100MB Cricket App

100MB Cricket is available for Android via Google Play, and for iOS via the App Store.
The app is conceptualised and developed by JetSynthesys and has been envisioned by Sachin himself. A song sung by Sachin with the ace singer Sonu Nigam will feature on the app

The Minister of Road Transport & Highways

MERIT stands for Merit Order Despatch of Electricity
for Rejuvenation of Income and Transparency.
This has been developed by Ministry of Power in
association with POSOCO and Central Electricity
Authority.
The MERIT Web portal displays extensive array of
information regarding the merit order of Electricity
procured by State(s) such as daily state-wise
marginal variable costs of all generators, daily
source-wise power purchases of respective
states/UTs with source-wise fixed and variable
costs, energy volumes and purchase prices

e-bidding portal

The Ministry of Power launched a portal for
optimum utilisation of domestic coal by
independent power producers .
This web portal would save the consumer close
to Rs 20,000 crore five years down the line.

The Indian Railways launched RailCloud, a
virtual server with an inbuilt security system
that will enable faster connectivity at a

India Quake & Sagar Vani

The government launched two Mobile apps – ‘India Quake’ for dissemination
of earthquake parameters and the other one ‘Sagar Vani’ to disseminate
ocean related information and alerts (like high waves and Tsunami early
warnings) to the user community in timely manner for their safety.
Developed by the National Centre for Seismology (NCS), the ‘India Quake’
will automatically disseminate relevant parameter (location, time and
magnitude) after the occurrence of earthquake

Health insurer Apollo Munich launched India’s
first travel insurance chatbot, Travel Ninja, to
enable customers to secure their trip in an
easier and faster way.
Travel Ninja is available 24×7 on Apollo
Munich’s website and Facebook Messenger to

The government today launched a

The Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution
launched web portal of Warehousing Development and Regulatory
Authority (WDRA) & Electronic Negotiable Warehouse Receipt (eNWR)
System under Digital India mission.

Tech giant Google joined the bandwagon of
Unified Payment Interface (UPI) -based
payment apps launching its “Tez” app.
Tez, which means fast in Hindi, is a
standalone payments app that can be
downloaded on Android and iOS devices.
It is based on UPI — a payments protocol built
by government-backed National Payment
Corporation of India (NPCI).

BPay App

Fino Payments Bank has launched its mobile
banking app called Bpay
