Taranga is a Jain pilgrimage center near Kheralu in Mehsana district, Gujarat.
Taranga is known for two compounds of Jain temples that are important examples of the Gurjara style of architecture.
Taranga hill also has a connect with Buddhism. It is said that the hill bears the name of Taranga, probably from a shrine of Taran Mata.
- The shrines of Taran Mata and Dharan Mata is situated near the hill. There is a presence of an idol of Taran Dharan Mata, a manifestation of the goddess Tara, who is believed to be connected to tantric Buddhism. The idol of Taran Mata is dated to 8th-9th century based on its style.

The Ajitnatha temple was constructed in 1161 by the Chaulukya king Kumarapala.
This temple is a classic exapme of Maru-Gurjara or Western Chaulukya or Solanki is a style of west Indian temple architecture that originated in Gujarat and Rajasthan from the 11th to 13th centuries.

The red interior of the Ajitnatha temple throws out in strong relief the 2.75 m white marble figure of Ajitnath, the second Tirthankara seated in the shrine.
Taranga has temples from both the main sects of Jainism.
There are 14 Svetambara temples in all, and about 5 Digambara-affiliated temples at Taranga hill.

Ambaji is a famous pilgrimage place of Gujarat in the Danta Taluka of Banaskantha District.
It is believed that Ambaji is near the origin of the famous Vedic river SARASWATI, on the hills of Arasur Parvat in Ambica forest in Aravallis.
Ambaji temple is one of the Fifty One (51) ancient Shakti Peethas, the main Centre of Cosmic Power in India.

Ambaji is one of the 51 Shaktipeethas.
Ambaji mata temple is a major Shakti Peeth of India. It is situated at a distance of 45 kilometres from Mount Abu and 185 kilometres from Ahmedabad.
In the holy temple of “Arasuri Ambaji”, there is no image or statue of goddess the holy “Shree Visa Yantra” is worshiped as the main deity. No one can see the Yantra with naked eye. The photography of the Yantra is prohibited.

The original seat of Ambaji mata is on Gabbar hilltop (Gabbar Tirth) in the town. A large number of devotees visit the temple every year specially on Purnima days.
Every Year from all over the country people come here walking all over from their native place just to worship MAA AMBE in September.

The Dilwara Temples are located about 2.5 kilometres from Mount Abu, Rajasthan’s only hill station.

Dilwara are Jain temples built by Vimal Shah and designed by Vastupala- Tejpal, Jain ministers of Dholka, between the 11th and 13th centuries AD.
They are famous for their use of marble and intricate marble carvings. There are 5 main temples here:
