More than 40 hours after a cable car collision in Jharkhand’s Deoghar district, over 40 people who were stranded in three carriages mid-air were rescued in a risky operation involving two Air Force helicopters and dozens of officials.
झारखंड के देवघर जिले में केबल कार की टक्कर के 40 घंटे से अधिक समय के बाद, वायु सेना के दो हेलीकॉप्टरों और दर्जनों अधिकारियों के जोखिम भरे ऑपरेशन में हवा के बीच तीन गाड़ियों में फंसे 40 से अधिक लोगों को बचाया गया।
The accident took place on April 10 after two cable cars in a ropeway collided with each other at Trikut hills in Jharkhand’s Deoghar district.
यह दुर्घटना 10 अप्रैल को झारखंड के देवघर जिले के त्रिकुट पहाड़ियों पर एक रोपवे में दो केबल कारों के आपस में टकरा जाने के बाद हुई थी।
The Trikut ropeway, according to the Jharkhand tourism department, is India’s highest vertical ropeway.It is around 766-metre long.
झारखंड पर्यटन विभाग के अनुसार त्रिकुट रोपवे भारत का सबसे ऊंचा वर्टिकल रोपवे है। यह लगभग 766 मीटर लंबा है।
The rescue operation ended after more than 60 people stuck on the ropeway following a collision between cable cars due to technical snag were evacuated with the help of two AF helicopters.
