Cannes Film Festival 2023 India
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has announced that four Indian films will be shown at the festival this year. The Directors’ Fortnight section will feature “Agra” by Kanu Behl and “Kennedy” by Anurag Kashyap and will be shown during Midnight Screenings. Also included in the Festival de Cannes are the screenings of “Nehemich” in the La Cinef section and “Ishanhou,” a restored Manipuri film, in the Classics area.

This year, the Indian Pavilion will focus on the topic of Showcasing India’s Creative Economy, and the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, is responsible for the design.
