Step 1: Visit the UPSC’s official website upsc.gov.in.

Step 2: Select the option “ONLINE APPLICATION FOR VARIOUS UPSC EXAMINATIONS.”

Step 3: Click the Part 1 link to register for the CDS exam.

Step 4: Enter your personal information, address, and educational qualifications to apply for the CDS exam online.

Step 5: Candidates must also choose their preferred branch.

Step 6: Check the information for accuracy before submitting the registration form.

Step 7: After successful registration, the registration ID is generated.

CDS Form 2023 Registration Part 2

Step 1: Part 2 of the CDS registration 2023 includes fee payment, exam centre selection, and uploading the required images.

Step 2: Part 2 of the UPSC CDS application form must be completed using the newly created registration ID.

Step 3: Fees can be paid in cash, by credit card, by debit card, or through net banking.

Step 4: Submit the application form and take a printout for future reference.

The application fee must be paid online via SBI Net Banking, in cash via SBI bank challan, or by credit card/debit card. After completing the registration process, candidates should take a printout of the challan generated online and pay the fee in cash.

A UPSC CDS application fee of INR 200 is required, which is waived for female/SC/ST candidates. Candidates must deposit the fees at the nearest SBI branch within 24 hours of generating the challan. The cash payment option is disabled one day before the exam. Applicants who have created their pay-in-slip before it is deactivated, on the application’s closing date, may pay at an SBI branch counter during business hours.
