• The Continuous Learning and Activity Portal (CLAP) was launched by the Union minister for Jal Shakti Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and other dignitaries on the inaugural day of ‘Ganga Utsav – the River Festival 2021.
• कंटीन्यूअस लर्निंग एंड एक्टिविटी पोर्टल (CLAP) को केंद्रीय जल शक्ति मंत्री श्री गजेंद्र सिंह शेखावत और अन्य गणमान्य व्यक्तियों द्वारा ‘गंगा उत्सव – नदी महोत्सव 2021 के उद्घाटन के दिन लॉन्च किया गया था।

• CLAP is also funded and supported by World Bank.
• This is an interactive portal that is working towards initiating conversations and action around the rivers in India.
• CLAP भी विश्व बैंक द्वारा वित्त पोषित और समर्थित है।
• यह एक संवादात्मक पोर्टल है जो भारत में नदियों के आसपास बातचीत और कार्रवाई शुरू करने की दिशा में काम कर रहा है।
• The Portal is also a platform to facilitate debates and discussions and express ideas on various issues pertaining to environment, water and rivers.
• यह पोर्टल पर्यावरण, जल और नदियों से संबंधित विभिन्न मुद्दों पर बहस और चर्चा को सुविधाजनक बनाने और विचार व्यक्त करने का एक मंच भी है।

• The National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) celebrates the festival every year to strengthen the Public – River Connection.

• कंटीन्यूअस लर्निंग एंड एक्टिविटी पोर्टल (CLAP) एक लर्निंग पोर्टल है जो बच्चों को साल भर व्यस्त रखने के लिए गतिविधियों, क्विज़, क्रॉसवर्ड, चर्चा मंचों से गुलजार रहेगा।
• The objective of all the activities will be to sensitize and motivate the children and youth for action to protect and restore our rivers.
• सभी गतिविधियों का उद्देश्य बच्चों और युवाओं को हमारी नदियों की रक्षा और उन्हें बहाल करने के लिए कार्रवाई के लिए संवेदनशील बनाना और प्रेरित करना होगा।

• It is an expedition led by the Ganga Task Force (GTF) that will travel the route including 23 stations along the river Ganga which will help sensitization of the local people and bodies and Voluntary groups such as Ganga Mitras, Ganga Praharis, Ganga Doots.
• यह गंगा टास्क फोर्स (जीटीएफ) के नेतृत्व में एक अभियान है जो गंगा नदी के किनारे 23 स्टेशनों सहित मार्ग की यात्रा करेगा जो स्थानीय लोगों और निकायों और गंगा मित्र, गंगा प्रहरी, गंगा दूत जैसे स्वैच्छिक समूहों को संवेदनशील बनाने में मदद करेगा।
• Ganga Mitras, Ganga Praharis, Ganga Doots are dedicated voluntary groups formed at the grassroot level, whose resources are channelized for engagement of the community and public at large.

• It is a national online quiz on Ganga, rivers, and environment that was first conceptualized in 2019 as an educational program to sensitize children and youth towards River Ganga to strengthen the Namami Gange program.
