Qualification: M.Tech. in Chemical Engineering OR PhD (submitted) in Chemical Engineering

Pay scale:Rs. 79,190/- Per Month

Job Description: The selected candidate will be involved in the work pertaining to functionalized flat sheet membranes with improved antifouling characteristics and desalination. He will also be required to work on blend membranes or novel mixed matrix polymeric membranes in hollow fiber configuration for various applications. Selected candidate is expected to take active role is pursuing translational research and institutional program.

2.Senior Scientist
Qualification:Ph.D. in Marine Science/Marine Biology / Molecular Phylogenetics with minimum two yars of post Ph.D. research experience relevant to the job.

Pay Scale:Rs. 91,564/- Per Month

Desirable: Candidates having experience in handling independent research projects/ Product Development/Tec hnology Innovation/Applie d Technology and experience in the use of molecular biology techniques, genetic engineering and experience in the field of algal phylogenetics/ algal molecular systematics will be preferred.

Job Description: The candidate has to work in the area of Micro and macro algae that are of indian origin. The candidate has to be involved in studies onmolecular bilogy for understanding the mechanism for imparting stress in macroalgae. Candidate is also expected to work on seaweed diversity of India. 3.Principal Scientist
Qualification:Ph. D. in Botany/Plant Science with minimum 3 years post Ph.D. research experience relevant to the job.

Pay Scale:Rs. 1,51,464/- Per Month

Desirable: Candidates having experience in handling independent research projects /Product Development/Tec hnology Innovation/Applie d Technology and experience in the use of molecular biology techniques, genetic engineering, stress physiology of plants and use of marine resources will be given preference.

Job Description: The candidate has to work in the isolation of stress responsive gene (s)/ transcription factor (s)/ gene expression analysis/ development of disease resistance in plants. The candidate has to be involved in understanding of molecular mechanism of biotic stress resistance in seaweed(s) and also via seaweed application for value addition. Selected candidate is also required to contribute to the Institutional problems. Selected candidate is expected to take active role is pursuing translational research and institutional program.

Age: 45 Years
