  1. (adj.) pertaining to or characteristic of a monkey or an ape.

MEANING:

  1. a scale divided into 100 degrees
  2. Pertaining to a temperature scale in which the freezing point of water is represented by 0° C and the boiling point by 100° C.

USAGE EXAMPLE 1:
