ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Age Limit :
The upper age limit of the candidates must not exceed 28 years. The age of the candidates should not exceed 18 years.
Educational Qualifications:
The candidates need to possess a B.Sc degree and diploma in Engineering or Computer Science or allied subjects in required disciplines from a recognized university or an institute.
• Agriculture: Applicants who have completed B.Sc. degree in Agriculture/ Agricultural Science or equivalent from a recognized Institute for DRDO Recruitment 2018.
• Automobile Engineering: Three years Diploma in Automobile Engineering from recognized Technical Board/ Institute.
• Botany: B.Sc. degree in Botany from recognized University/ Institute (candidates of ZBC etc. may also apply)
• Chemical Engineering: Three years Diploma in Chemical Engineering/Technology from recognized Technical Board/ Institute.
• Chemistry: B.Sc. degree in Chemistry/Chemical Science from recognized University/ Institute (candidates of PCM/ZBC/PCB etc. may also apply).
• Civil Engineering: Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering from recognized Technical Board/ Institute
• Computer Science: B.Sc. degree Or Three years Diploma in Computer Science/ Engineering/ Technology/ Information Technology from a recognized University/ Technical Board/ Institute (Courses by DOEACC/BCA/MCA are not eligible).
• Electrical & Electronics Engineering: Three years Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from recognized Technical Board/ Institute.

• Psychology: B.Sc. degree in Psychology from a recognized University/ Institute.
• Zoology: B.Sc. degree in Zoology/ Life Science from recognized University/ Institute (candidates of ZBC etc. may also apply).
Selection Process:
The candidates will be selected on the basis of examinations in two tiers. Tier I examination will consist of 150 marks and Tier II will consist of 100 marks.
EXAM PATTERN:
1.DRDO STA-B Tier-I Exam: Computer Based Test
Tier-I exam is for screening.
The minimum qualifying marks for Tier-I is 40% for UR/OBC candidate and 35% for SC/ST candidates.
The medium for examination will be Hindi or English.
2.DRDO STA-B Tier-II Exam: Computer Based Test
The questions will be Multiple Choice and Objective Type Questions.
Negative Marking will be as per the Board rules.

3.Document Verification

SC/ST Candidates: No Application Fee
Pay Scale :
The selected candidates will be eligible to receive a monthly pay of Rs.50,000 with medical facility, leave travel concession, children education allowance, and other allowances.
Steps to fill Online Application Form:
(1) To apply for the above-mentioned vacancy, an individual need to apply through the link available on the official web portal.
(2) The individual needs to register themselves.
(3) Once the registration process is complete, the individual will get a user Id and a Password, which will be used for further login or completing the application form. The candidate should write down the id and password for future purpose.
(4) On the application form, the candidate should enter their details like- name, date of birth, father’s name, mother’s name, educational qualifications etc.
(5) Individuals must enter their valid mobile number and email id in the relevant column.
(6) The ‘Permanent address’ and ‘Temporary address’ should be correct.
(7) After entering all details, the candidates need to verify all information once again.
(8) If all information is true to your knowledge, then proceed next.
(9) The candidates can save their application before submission.
(10) The individuals have to submit application fees online.
(11) After the final submission of the application form, no changes or correction will be entertained.
(12) For future reference, the candidates need to keep a hard copy of the application form.
(13) During the time of document verification, the applicants need to produce duly signed printed copy of the application form.
