Exams Postponed Due To COVID 19 – Free PDF Download

• With the number of COVID 19 patients increasing in India, most school, college and competitive exams have been postponed.
• Primary reason being social distancing. It is not possible to seat students/aspirants in a manner which follows roper social distancing

School exams

• All School exams – including private and government schools.
• The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and
• Indian School Certificate Examination (ICSE) postponed all the remaining board exams of classes 10 and 12 scheduled to be held between March 19 and March 31.
• The International Baccalaureate Board (IB) has decided to promote Students of Class 10 and 12.

Promotion

• All students from Class 1 to 8 in CBSE schools will be passed and promoted to next class without conducting examinations.
• Many state boards have taken the same decision.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC)

JEE Main

• The National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the JEE (Main) 2020 examination which was scheduled to be held on April 5th, 7th, 9th and 11th.
• The new dates of JEE (Main) examinations will be announced soon. (May 2020 probably)

NEET

• The national medical entrance exam NEET has also been postponed by National Testing Agency (NTA).
• The new NEET 2020 exam dates will be announced later on after assessing the situation.

ICAI

• The Institute of chartered accountants of India, ICAI has postponed the CA exam which was scheduled to be held from May 2 to May 18.
• As per the official notice, the exams will now be held from June 19 to July 4.

Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) of India

• The Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) of India has postponed the preliminary examination for recruitment of Assistant Engineers – Civil/Electrical/Structural/ MEP and Assistant Architects
• The Recruitment of Assistant Administrative Officers (Specialist) scheduled to be held on April 4.
• Deferred till further instructions.
