Selection Process:
Written Exam (90 MARKS)
Socio-Economic Criteria and Experience (10 MARKS)
Exam Pattern: The Exam Pattern is as Follows:
- The Written Exam Will be Objective Type.
The Scheme of Marks in respect of Selection to Group D Posts in the Service Shall Comprise of total 100 Marks.
Objective Test Will Consist 90 Marks.
75% Weightage for General Awareness, Reasoning, Maths, Science, English, Hindi as Applicable
25% Weightage for History, Current Affairs, Literature, Geography, Civics, Environment, culture etc. of Haryana.

Exam Syllabus: The Syllabus is as follows:
General Awareness: Questions will be designed to test the ability of the candidate’s General Awareness of the environment around him/ her and its application to society. The questions will be designed to test knowledge of Current Events and of such a matter of everyday observation as may be expected of an educated person.
The test will also include questions relating to History, Polity, Constitution, Sports, Art & Culture, Geography, Economics, Everyday Science, Scientific Research, National/International Organizations /Institutions etc.
Reasoning: The syllabus of Reasoning includes questions of both verbal and non-verbal types. The test may include questions on analogies, similarities, differences, space visualization, problem-solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship, concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series etc.
Maths: It will cover Number Systems including questions on Simplification, Decimals, Data Interpretation, Fractions, L.C.M., H.C.F., Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Average, Profit & Loss, Discount, Simple & Compound Interest, Mensuration, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Tables & Graphs etc.
Science: The syllabus under this shall cover Physics, Chemistry and Life Sciences of the 10th standard level.
English/ Hindi: Mainly Focus on the topics like Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Error, Sentence correction, fill in the blanks, Comprehension & Cloze Test etc.
History, Current Affairs, Literature, Geography, Civics, Environment, culture etc. of Haryana related Information.

Level is DL (Rs. 16,900 – 53,500/-) + Applicable Spacial pay.

Examination Fees for GEN (Male) is Rs.100/‐ (Rs. One hundred only),
For GEN (Female) of Haryana State is Rs.50/ only,
For SC/BC Candidates of Haryana State only Male Rs.50/ Only & Female Rs.25/ Only.
