Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates applying for Observer, Pilot (MR), Pilot (Other than MR) should hold a degree of B.E./B.Tech Degree in any discipline (with Physics & Maths in 12th standard).
• Candidates applying for Logistics should hold a degree of BE/B.Tech in any discipline with First Class or MBA with First Class or B.Sc / B.Com / B.Sc.(IT) with First class and a PG Diploma in Finance / Logistics / Supply Chain Management / Material Management or MCA / M.Sc (IT) with First Class.
• Those who would apply for Education must be BE/B.Tech/M.Sc./MA

Important note:

1. Only unmarried candidates are eligible to undergo training. A candidate who is found to be married or marries while under training will be discharged and shall be liable to refund full pay and allowances drawn by him/her and other expenditure incurred on the candidate by the government.
2. Candidates will be on probation for a period of two years which will commence from the grant of the rank of Sub Lt and will terminate after two years or on completion of their initial training (whichever is later). During probation they are liable to be discharged if their performance is unsatisfactory on professional/ medical/disciplinary grounds.
3. Candidates who fail to qualify the flying training (Pilots / Observers) will not be retained in service.
