State-level civil service exams in Jammu and Kashmir is administered by the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) for a various of Jammu and Kashmir government positions. Preliminary and main written exams as well as an in-person interview are part of the JKPSC Recruitment process.
JKPSC Exam 2023 Overview
The JKPSC Examination includes Prelims, Mains, and Personal Interview, candidates need to clear all three stages for being an officer in Jammu and Kashmir. Candidates who clear the mains examination will be called for the personal interview round.

JKPSC Eligibility Criteria 2023
Only eligible candidates will be permitted to successfully register for the JKPSC selection procedure. Age restriction, physical measurement, educational requirements, nationality, number of attempts, and experience are among the JKPSC qualifying requirements. Until they reach the maximum age, applicants can sit for the JKPSC exam. The JKPSC Eligibility Criteria, which include Nationality, Age, and Educational Qualification, must be met by applicants to the J&K Combined Competitive Examination.

JKPSC Age Limit
The candidates who want to give the exam must be eligible within the JKPSC Eligibility Criteria. The lower age limit is 21 years, and the higher age limit is 32 years, according per the JKPSC Eligibility Criteria. For candidates who fall under one of the reserved categories, the commission will also relax the upper age limit.
JKPSC Educational Qualification
Candidates must meet the requirements for JKPSC Eligibility Criteria to sit for the JKPSC exam in terms of schooling. The minimum requirement for candidates is a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or other institution in any discipline.
JKPSC Physical Measurement
The most important requirement for JKPSC Eligibility Criteria for the JKPSC KAS exam is physical measurement. The commission has set a minimal criterion that applicants for the KAS exam must meet.
