Central Armed Police Forces
CAPF is the Central Armed Police Forces. It includes the uniformed officers of seven security forces in India. These forces are authorised under Ministry of Home Affairs.
The seven security forces are- Assam Rifles, Border Security Force, Central Reserve Police Force, Central Industrial Security Force, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, National Security Guard and Sashastra Seema Bal.

There are two rounds for CAPF test- Prelims and Mains.
The prelims paper is made up of objective questions. While the Mains paper consists of Subjective questions. The third round is the physical efficiency test and the final round is interview. In the first paper there are 125 objective questions. If the minimum cut off is met, then only the second paper is checked. The second paper is usually descriptive in nature which requires essay writing, precis writing and similar pattern. If an aspirant qualifies for this round also then the mutual marks of both the exams is taken into consideration. The interview round may offer the aspirants with unexpected questions but in general, the questions are asked from Detailed Application Form. Therefore aspirant should have a clear idea of what he/she has written in the DAF.

For the preparation of CAPF, an aspirant should have the access of the last ten years question papers. This gives a general idea about the pattern of the exam.
