  • Selecting sustainable and renewable materials and processes and ensuring their traceability.
  • Communicate our sustainability initiatives effectively to consumers and media.
  • Through these actions, shift a significant percentage of our supply chain to a sustainable chain by the year 2025.
  • Also addressing critical global issues such as climate change, contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

WATER USAGE IN TEXTILE MANUFACTURING

  • The Textile industry is dependent on water in virtually all steps of manufacturing.
  • Huge amounts of water are used to dye, finish, and wash clothes.
  • In India alone, the textile industry uses 425,000,000 gallons of water daily.
  • Approx. 500 gallons of water are used in the production of just one pair of jeans.
