Of the five girls S, T, U, V and W, two are excellent, three are good in studies Two of them study in
MBA classes and three in B.com classes. One comes from Indira Nagar, two from Gomti Nagar and
two from Aliganj. One of them is interested in Cricket, two in Volleyball and one in Badminton. Of
those studying in B.com; two are excellent and one is good in studies. Of the two girls interested in
volleyball. one is an MBA student. The one interested in cricket comes from Gomti Nagar. Both the
girls who are interested in volleyball are not fat. The two girls who come from Gomti Nagar are
good in studies and one of them is interested in volleyball. The girl who is interested in badminton
comes from Aliganj. While one interested in cricket is fat. W is fat, excellent in studies, comes from
Aliganj and not interested in cricket, badminton or volleyball. U is good in studies and also fat. S
comes from Indira Nagar and is not fat but excellent in studies. T is fat and comes from Gomti Nagar.
PUZZLE—2:-
There are 6 friends: L, M, N, O, P and Q who are chefs. They own: Restaurant. Catering Business,
Bar, Food stall, Shack and Cafe (Not necessarily in order). Their signature dish is made of: Milk,
Butter, Curd, Cheese, Hummus and Cream (not necessarily in order). Each of their food joints remains
closed on 1 day of the week (Monday-Saturday). The person who owns shack does not use
butter. M‘s joint remains closed on Tuesday. The person whose joint remains closed on Monday
uses milk. N owns a bar but it does not remain close on Monday. L owns a restaurant. Curd is used
by the person who owns a café but he is not P. The person whose joint is closed on Wednesday uses
cream. O uses cheese. P’s joint remains closed on Friday. C uses hummus and he is into catering
business. His joint does not remain closed on Thursday.
