South East Central Railway published notification for recruiting eligible applicants for the post of ALP & Technician Group – Group A, and Group B – Junior Engineer, ECG Technician, Field Worker, Health & Malaria Inspector, Staff Nurse, Good Guards against General Departmental Competitive Exam(GDCE) Quota.

Online Applications are invited by South East Central Railway (SECR), Bilaspur from 17th Aug 2018 to 17th September 2018 for 329 vacancies

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit :

The upper age limit will be 42 years for General candidates, 47 years SC/ST candidates and 45 years for OBC candidates. The age will be reckoned as on 01st January 2019 and is as under:

UR – 18 to 42 (02nd January 1977)

OBC – 18 to 45 (02nd January 1974)

SC/ST – 18 to 47 (02nd January 1972)

Lower Date of Birth (Not later than) – 01st January 2001

Proof of Age

Matric/SSC/HSSC Certificate or mark sheet indicating Date of Birth issued by Board or5.2 School Leaving/Transfer Certificate issued by School/College Authority or5.3 Birth Certificate issued by Appropriate Authority

Educational Qualifications:

ALP

Matriculate in/SSL(plus ITI from recognized institutions of NCVT /SCVT in the trades of Armature and Coil Winder/Electrician/Electronics Mechanic/Fitter/Heat Engine Instrument Mechanic I Machinist/Mechanic Diesel/ Mechanic Motor Vehicle/Millwright
Maintenance Mechanic/Mechanic Radio& TV/Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Mechanic/Tractor Mechanic/Turner/Wireman
3 years Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/ Automobile Engineering(OR)
Combination of various streams of these Engineering disciplines from a recognized Institution in lieu of ITI.[Note: Degree in the Engineering disciplines as above will also be acceptable in lieu of Diploma in\Engineering]

Technician-III

Matriculation I SSLC plus ITI from recognized institutions of NCVT/ SCVT in the trades of Electrician/ Electronics Mechanic/ Wireman(OR)Matriculation I SS LC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades mentioned above(OR)B) 10+2 with Physics and Maths

Technician-III Elect /Power/ Train Lighting TRS/ TRD

Matriculation with either National Trade Certificate (NTC) or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) issued by National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) in the trade of Electrician/ Wireman/Mechanic HT.LT Equipment’s and cable jointing I Electronics Mechanic/Mechanic Power Electronics

Jr. Engineering (S&T)/D&D/Signal/Telecom

Three years Diploma in (a) Electrical / Electronics /Information/ Technology / Communication Engineering/Computer Science and Engineer or (b) a combination of any sub-stream of basic streams of TELECOM electrical /Electronics /Information Technology /Communication Engineering /Computer Science and Engineer from a recognized University / Institute

For Pharmacist-III

10+2 in Science or its equivalent, with two years diploma in Pharmacy & registration with Pharmacy, Council of India or with State Pharmacy Council.

For Staff Nurse

Certificate as registered Nurse and Midwife having passed three years course in General Nursing course in Midwifery from a school of Nursing or other institution recognized by the Indian Nursing council or B.Sc. (Nursing).

For Goods Guard

Degree from recognized university or Equivalent.

For Fieldworker

10+2 in Science (Chemistry & Biology).

For Junior Engineer (Mech)/ C&W/ Workshop

Three years Diploma in (a) Mechanical /Electrical/ Electronics/ Manufacturing.

For Technician-III Fitter/ (C&W/ Workshop)

Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI in the trade of Fitter.

For Technician-III/Bridge

Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI in the trades of Fitter/ Fitter (Structural) / Welder

General Instruction

NOTE:

Only serving and regular Railway employees of South East Central Railway as on 01st August 2018 who are working in pay Level lower than the pay Level or identical as per stipulated conditions of the notified posts are eligible to apply
