UPSC IFS Exam Pattern

UPSC IFS Exam Pattern for Prelims

The General Studies (Paper-I) exam is the first test on the preliminary examination. Exam II of the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination shall be a qualifying test, with a cut-off mark of 33%. Additionally, in order to be evaluated, the candidate must appear for both Civil Services (Prelims) Examination Papers. The Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination (Objective type) is used to select candidates for the Main Examination.
