ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Applicants must have completed the graduation from a recognized institute.
For the post of District information officer / Feature writer, candidates need to have graduation with Hindi subject to be eligible to apply.
For the post of Sahayak Nagar Niyojak, candidates must have any qualification from the pots as post-graduation diploma in Town and architect planning or associate membership of institute of planner /institute of town planner or institute of town planner India/ American institute of town.
The age of the candidates must be minimum 21 years and maximum 42 years as on 1 July 2018.

Exam Pattern

There will be three stages of the Uttarakhand PCS Exam.
The first stage will be a Preliminary having two question papers of objective.
Candidates will be eligible to appear in the main examination, after qualifying the preliminary examination.
There will be an interview of the candidates who have succeeded the Main examination, after the commencement of the main examination.
Except the language paper, every question paper in the Main examination will be of 200 marks.
The number of question paper in the mains exam will be 7 and the question paper of the language will be of 300 marks.
The last part of the selection process will be an interview.
Candidates will finally be selected for the examination, after qualifying the interview assessment tests.

Uttarakhand PSC Educational Qualifications

The aspirants who wish in appear in Uttarakhand PCS exam should have a recognized Graduate Degree from a recognized institution/University. However, a recognized Diploma is also required for some of the positions. These are minimum educational qualification required for most of the PCS Jobs.

Age limit for Uttarakhand Pcs Exam, UKPSC Age limit

The minimum age limit for applying the Uttarakhand PCS Exam is 21 years while the maximum age limit is 42 years. The student from OBC category also gets 3 years age relaxation and the candidate from SC/ST category gets 5 years relaxation.

Almost Many Services under PCS required the candidates must be Physically Good and fit (exceptional instances also exist), the aspirants must be fluent in English and Hindi languages. The working knowledge of the additional languages will be an advantage.
